I have checked out Technorati. It looks like a good idea but it's not a very user friendly site. I presume you set up an account and add search terms and hey presto! you get a blog stream of what is happening. Nice idea but who has time to keep up ... Rollyo (I can't remember the spelling) looks fun too, except I am already in more online book groups than is good for me.

I read an article recently that talked about our 2.0 kids having a quiet night at home but, unbeknownst to their parents, socialising in their bedrooms in a 2.0 way. My son recently caught up with people he knew from an International School ten years ago. He was six years old when we left Fiji but one night he came out of his bedroom and said: 'Do I know someone called Melanie Wright? 'Yes,' we said. 'She was in your class at International School but ... what made you think of her?' 'Oh, I didn't,' he smiled at our naivety. 'She left a message on my Myspace.'
